The Adult Re-Education Scholarship was started by John and Linda Zimmermann to benefit adults who want to acquire additional training or education to increase their employment opportunities.

    Applicants must have had their normal course of education interrupted for any reason
  • Residence:
    Applicants must be current Hancock County residents

    Applicants must have had their normal course of education interrupted for any reasonApplicants must plan to pursue a post-secondary education credential.

  • Recommendation Letters:
    Two Letters of Recommendation. Recommendations may not be written by family members, school administrators, or guidance counselors.
  • Other Materials:
    Completed College Costs Estimator form.Proof of GED, if applicableAll applicants must submit one high-quality, color head shot (shoulders and up). A professional senior photo is preferred. HCCF reserves the right to request additional photos if the submitted photo is not acceptable. *Please note, if you are selected as a scholarship recipient this photo will be used in HCCF publications.
