AICPA Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students aims to increase the minority CPA who will serve as role models and mentors to the young generation. The program provides a $12,000 award to the eligible scholars. The fellowship is open to full-time doctoral minority students.

Eligibility Requirements

    The fellowship is open to students in the doctoral-level of study. The applicant must have earned a Masters Degree.

    The applicant must attend school on a full-time basis and plan to remain enrolled full-time until attaining a doctoral degree.
  • Residence:
    The applicant must be a permanent resident (or U.S. Citizen).
  • Citizenship:
    The applicant must be a U.S. citizen (or permanent resident).
  • Major/Career:
    The applicant must be a CPA or plan to pursue the CPA credential.
  • Ethnicity:
    The program is open to minority student of Black or African American; Hispanic or Latino; or Native American ethnicity
  • Miscellaneous:
    The applicant must agree not to work full-time in a paid position or accept responsibility for teaching more than one course per semester as a teaching assistant, or dedicate more than one-quarter of my time as a research assistant.
