APA Summer Undergraduate Research Opportunity Grants

The APA Summer Undergraduate Research Opportunity Grants is open to psychology departments in academic institutions in the United States. The purpose of this grants is to hire undergraduates who have little or no prior laboratory experience for research assistantships during the summer. At least three psychology faculty members must provide research assistantship opportunities within their labs for each psychology department that applied for this grant. Between four and eight undergraduate assistants must be hired and these participants must have completed their freshman year and not yet have obtained a bachelors degree. APA will provide funds to pay for each undergraduate research assistant ( at least $10 per hour) and a contribution to the hosting department, with the amount determined by the number of students supported.
