Benny Goodman Foundation

This scholarship was established in honor of Benny Goodman by his daughter, Rachel Goodman Edelson. Benny was a great clarinet player who had an almost unparalleled impact on popular music and the importance of the clarinet in both jazz and classical music. This scholarship in honor of Benny benefits undergraduate students pursuing study in the field of music with an emphasis in jazz or classical at any University of California school campus. Students must maintain continuous full-time enrollment.
