Debra L. Plank Memorial 4-H Scholarship is established in memory of Debbie. She dedicated her hours to the Hancock County 4-H programs. A member of Mohawk United Methodist Church where she was an organist and helped with various church activities.

  • Judging Criteria:
    Recipients will be chosen on the basis of 4-H activities and leadership (50%); community involvement (30%); and application packet, including essay and letter of recommendation (20%). Two recipients will be chosen.

    One page summary of all 4-H projects in which you have participated including number of years of participation (example: Beef - 9 years, Clothing -10 years, etc.);4-H achievement record with up-to-date information on your 4-H participation and accomplishment;Three paragraphs describing your three most significant 4-H projects including dates of project, reasons for choosing that project, skills and knowledge gained from it, how the project contributed to your growth, and how it influenced your education and career choices;Paragraph describing your 4-H leadership activities including your role in each activity, size and scope of your efforts (time spent, people recruited, resources committed), and what was accomplished
