American Legion Auxiliary - Department of Wisconsin
This scholarship was established to benefit a child, grandchild, great-grandchild, step-child, step grandchild, step great-grandchild, wife or widow of a veteran. Applicants must be planning to attend an accredited school. Applicants must be residing in Wisconsin, except those who are members of the Wisconsin American Legion Family.

Eligibility Requirements
- Gender:Female
- Minimum GPA:3.50
- Financial Need:Required
- Residence:Be a resident of Wisconsin, except as noted in 1 (b) (An applicant, who is a member of the Wisconsin American Legion Family, does not need toreside in Wisconsin.)
- College:School selected need not be in Wisconsin, but must be an accredited school.
- Military:Applicant must be a child, grandchild, great-grandchild, step-child, step grandchild, step great-grandchild, wife or widow of a veteran.
- Organization:An applicant, who is a member of the Wisconsin American Legion Family, does not need to reside in Wisconsin

- Essay:Essay must be typed and double-spaced, not to exceed 300 words: For all other Department Scholarships Education An Investment In The Future
- Recommendation Letters:Include at least three (3) letters of recommendation from at least two of the following categories:a. School administrators, guidance counselors, faculty members (no more than two)b. Pastor, businessmen from community (no more than two)c. Representative citizen (one only)i. Recommendations from relatives are not accepted
- Other Materials:A completed online application;Copy of Veterans DD-214 (discharge papers).
