The scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to deserving graduating seniors of Cuyahoga county who have actively participated in extracurricular activities and school or community service.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Age/Grade Level:
    Graduating senior; Undergraduate student
  • Minimum GPA:
    2.50
  • Financial Need:
    Required
  • Other Academic Requirements:
    Student must take either the SAT or ACT and provide a copy of results
  • Residence:
    Student must be residents of Cuyahoga county; Lorain county
  • Citizenship:
    Hispanic student must be American citizens; DACA Eligible students are also eligible to apply
  • College:
    Be enrolled full-time in college and/or university as an undergraduate student
  • Ethnicity:
    Student must be Hispanic country or have at least one parent who is Hispanic
  • Extracurricular:
    Student must have participated in extracurricular activities and school or community service
  • Miscellaneous:
    Family Income must not exceed $60,000 per year. Applicants whose family income is higher than $60,000 shall be evaluated on a case by case basis
