Established in memory of Goldie Gibson, who worked on behalf of the poor, the Goldie Gibson Memorial Scholarship was created. This scholarship aims to give assistance to deserving high school graduates or graduating seniors from Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Johnson, or Shelby counties.
