Hancock County Community Foundation

This scholarship was established by the Riley Festival Board in 1999 to honor James Whitcomb Riley. Mr. Riley had a great influence in fostering the creation of a mid-western cultural identity and contributed to the golden age of Indiana literature. This scholarship aims to benefit graduating students from Hancock County who exhibits outstanding community service.

    Applicants must be graduating students from a Hancock County public high school or an area parochial high school

    Applicants must have at least a solid C (not C-) grade point average

    Applicants must be graduating students from a Hancock County public high school or an area parochial high school
  • Extracurricular:
    The level of self-motivation in initiating and/or participating in a community service
