The scholarship is part of the Hawai'i Community Foundation's Vocational Education Scholarship Program and was established to provide financial assistance to Hawaiin students who are seeking a career in Associate of Science (AS) or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) at any of the University of Hawaii Community Colleges.
