This scholarship was created to honor Kenneth Wayne Himsel and his passion for farming. Applicants should have participated in 4-H and/or FFA activities and pursuing a post-secondary education in a two or four-year college or university.

    Graduating senior from a public Johnson County high school
  • College:
    Planning to enroll full-time as an undergraduate student at an accredited college or university
  • Extracurricular:
    Demonstrates a sustained and meaningful level of volunteer community service
  • Organization:
    Demonstrates interest in agriculture through past and current activities in 4-H and/or FFA
