Community Foundation of the Great River Bend

The scholarship was established to provide educational opportunities to the outstanding students of Jackson, Clinton, Scott, Cedar, Johnson, or Muscatine Iowa who are planning to pursue an Associate's or bachelor's degree in a construction-related course of study at a college or university.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Age/Grade Level:
    Graduating high school senior or current college student
  • Minimum GPA:
    2.25
  • Financial Need:
    Not Required
  • Other Academic Requirements:
    Enrolled full-time
  • Residence:
    Applicant must reside in one of the following Iowa counties: Jackson, Clinton, Scott, Cedar, Johnson, or Muscatine.
  • College:
    Applicant must be enrolled full-time and pursuing an Associates or Bachelors of Arts degree from a college or university.
  • Major/Career:
    Applicant must be enrolled in a construction-related course of study.
  • Other Benefits:
    Recipients may reapply, up to a total of four scholarships one per year.

    A preference will be given to students who have completed construction-related curriculum or participated in school-sponsored construction-related activities.
