This scholarship is open to a son, daughter, grandson or granddaughter of a member of I.U.O.E., Local #132. Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited public or private school with a minimum "C" average and must show evidence of acceptance to an accredited, licensed or certified post-secondary trade or technical school, junior college, four-year undergraduate college or university. Special emphasis will be given to those displaying personal attributes of hard work, dedication, high moral character and creativeness as evidenced in the lives of Roy and Frances Valentine and to those with financial or personal hardship.
