This scholarship was established to support one graduate-level student conducting research for the benefit of the potato industry. Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement, leadership abilities and participation in extracurricular activities.

Application Details

  • Judging Criteria:
    Award selection will be based on the applicant's past academic achievement, leadership abilities, potato-related areas of graduate study, goals, benefit to the potato industry, extracurricular activities, grades, and potential commercial value.

  • Essay:
    Explain in 200 words or less how your goals and ambitions qualify you for this scholarship. Specify your graduate program and demonstrate how your research will benefit the U.S. potato industry.
