Nicholas Megrath Scholarship

Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties

This scholarship is created in honor of Nicholas Megrath and is open to graduating seniors of Forest Hill High for four years who are enrolled in Environmental Academy. Applicants must be graduating high school senior who demonstrates outstanding academic performance and extracurricular activities, including the Science Fair and Envirothon.

    Must demonstrate outstanding extracurricular activities, including the Science Fair and Envirothon
  • Miscellaneous:
    Completion of 6 to 8 credits in the sciences

Application Details

  • Judging Criteria:
    Scholarship recipients are selected by the Community Foundation's Scholarship Committee on the basis of the applicant's academic record; potential to succeed; demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities; work experience; a statement of education and career goals; and unusual personal or family circumstances. Recipients are selected on an objective and competitive basis considering academic and non-academic factors. A personal interview for finalists is required. All scholarships are approved by the Foundation's Board of Directors.
