Thelma Hunt Research Grant was established in honor of Thelma Hunt. The grant provides a $3,000 fund for Psi Chi members who is engaged in projects related to the Psi Chi's mission. The applicant must produce projects that will help produce well-educated, ethical, and socially responsible members.

    Proposals will be evaluated on the quality of the following: Introduction: quality of literature, hypotheses Relevance: of the research of Psi Chis mission Methods: participants, materials, procedures Budget: reasonable and justifiable use of funds

    Provide an impact statement and/or bio and photo to the grants department if your study is funded.
  • Other Materials:
    Write a proposal and budget for an empirical research project that addresses a question directly related to Psi Chi. Proposals must be an electronic document written in English conforming strictly to the instructions in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA). The description of the project (excluding title page, abstract, references, and appendices) should not exceed six pages in 12-point font (double-spaced).You must completely mask your proposal. Your Psi Chi member ID number will serve as a unique identifier for your submission.
