Eligibility Requirements
- Financial Need:Required
- Other Academic Requirements:Eligible applicants must complete the Troy Barboza Educational Fund Scholarship section on page 18 of the online application; Attend as a full-time student (as determined by your schools financial aid office)
- Residence:Resident of the State of Hawaii
- College:Attend an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US
- Employer:Be a dependent (or immediate family member) of a Hawaii Public employee killed or injured in the line of duty (to the extent that they are incapacitated or incapable of continuing their profession) or be a past or present public employee injured in the line of duty. The public employee must be in a position where lives are risked for the protection of others.
