The Wooster Noon Lions Club Scholarship was established to benefit postsecondary students based on financial need, field of study, and available funds. Applicants must: be visually impaired students; have visually handicapped parents with limited means; be students with limited means who are in a field of study for sight treatment such as ophthalmology, optometry, or nurses and technicians in the field; be students of limited means who embark on a field of study related to education of the visually handicapped and be other students of limited means.

  • Age/Grade Level:
    Applicant must reside in Wooster, Ohio or attend/have attended a high school or joint vocational school in Wooster, Ohio.
  • Minimum GPA:
    2.0
  • Financial Need:
    Required
  • Other Academic Requirements:
    Students must maintain a minimum 2.0/4.0 grade point average and be registered as fulltime students to remain eligible.Students must have graduated from Wooster High School to be eligible
  • Residence:
    Applicant must reside in Wooster, Ohio
  • School:
    Students must have graduated from Wooster High School
  • Major/Career:
    Students with limited means who are in a field of study for sight treatment such as ophthalmology, optometry, or nurses and technicians in the field; Students of limited means who embark on a field of study related to education of the visually handicapped.
