Diabetes Scholars Foundation

Provided to young adults wanting to attend Children with Diabetes conferences. The conferences are an opportunity for individuals, impacted by diabetes, to increase their overall knowledge of diabetes management, receive up-to-date research information and build a lifelong diabetes network.

    Each scholarship will cover the following expenses for one person (Young Adult 18 to 24):Conference registration, which includes all sessions and session materialsOne guest room (to be shared with another young adult recipient) for five nightsChildcare for children age 5 and underWednesday Grand Opening Reception (6:00 pm)Wednesday First Timers Reception (late afternoon)Thursday breakfast, lunch and snack breaksThursday Family and Friends BanquetFriday lunch and snack breaksFriday Off Site Day for teensSaturday eventsSunday Farewell BreakfastVarious receptions/socials (Teen Dance, Tween Social, Dessert with the Faculty)One t-shirt per registered person
