Scholarships for Native Hawaiians

From a rich cultural heritage to a beautiful natural home, Hawaiian natives have much to be thankful for. They can add to that list the availability of scholarships, because there are many scholarships available to students of Native Hawaiian heritage. Some of these scholarships are open to members of all minority groups, while others are specifically for Native Hawaiian students. The awarding organizations may consider other factors besides ethnic background, such as having a high GPA (often above a 2.5), pursuing a specific course of study, having a financial need, or demonstrating involvement in Hawaiian Native cultural heritage.
