Allied Healthcare Scholarship Program is given to students of healthcare. The scholarship provides an up to $8,000 fund to support the student's education. The applicant must agree to a twelve-month service obligation in the healthcare industry.

Eligibility Requirements

    The applicant must be an undergraduate student.
  • Minimum GPA:
    2.0

  • Other Academic Requirements:
    The applicant must be enrolled in 6 units or more.
  • Residence:
    The applicant must have valid legal presence and ability to work and provide care in the state of California.
  • Major/Career:
    The awardee must be currently accepted or enrolled in the following program: Clinical Laboratory Scientists, Community Health Workers/Promotoras, Dental Hygienists, Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, Medical Assistants, Medical Imaging Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technologists, Nuclear Medicine Technologists, Occupational Therapist Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians, Physical Therapy Assistants, Radiation Therapy Technologists, Radiologic Technicians, Respiratory Therapists, Social Work, Surgical Technicians, and Ultrasound Technicians.
  • Miscellaneous:
    The applicant must graduate after June 30, be willing to work in a medically underserved area for twelve (12) months and be free from any other service obligation, except HPEF scholarship programs.
