This scholarship is given to graduates (including GED recipients and home-schooled graduates) of Harney, Lake, or Malheur County high schools who are residents of Oregon and planning to major in English, Journalism, Math, Music, or Physical education at Oregon colleges. The scholarship gives preference to older, nontraditional students or students who are returning to college after a long absence.
