Ventura County Community Foundation

This scholarship is administered by Ventura County Community Foundation. It is designed to provide assistance to high school seniors or high school graduates in Ventura County or graduating from Los Angeles High School who will pursue a degree in nursing, medical or education field at an accredited community college, four-year college or university. In addition, applicants must be the single parent of a minor child or minor children with a preference for applicants who demonstrate financial need.

    There are specific prompts during the application process. VCCF selection committees consider student essays as narrative pictures of applicants. Essays must be a total of 500-700 words overall.
