Citi/TELACU Scholars Mentoring Program is provided to students pursuing a business-related degree. The program aims to provide financial assistance as well as guidance and mentoring in preparation for eligibility of graduation.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Age/Grade Level:
    The applicant must be a college Senior in last year of undergraduate studies.
  • Minimum GPA:
    3.0
  • Financial Need:
    Preferred
  • Other Academic Requirements:
    The applicants must be enrolled full-time for the entire 2017-2018 academic year.
  • Character Traits:
    The applicant must demonstrate academic excellence and leadership qualities.
  • College:
    The applicant must be attending a 4-year college or university.
  • Major/Career:
    The applicant must be pursuing a degree in a business-related field.
  • Other Benefits:
    The program provides each Scholar with unique guidance and rich insights into the world of business and finance. In addition to mentorships with top-level Citi executives, Scholars benefit from the academic counseling, career preparation sessions, leadership training and the Programs comprehensive support system that ensures 100% of eligible college seniors graduate.

    Personal Narrative (For New Applicants)In a written statement, two pages maximum, with name in the upper right hand corner of each page, 11pt. Arial font, double-spaced, and one-inch margins, please respond to each of the following:In no more than one paragraph (3-5 sentences), please tell us about yourself and your background. What are some challenges, successes, and experiences that have shaped who you are today? What is your intended major and career goal? What are some reasons or experiences that prompted you to pursue your intended field of study?   • Recommendation Letters:
    Letters of Recommendation (Required for first-time applicants only) Each applicant must submit two letters of recommendation (letters must be academic or professional recommendations).Letters should be on organization letterhead, be a maximum of two pages each, signed, dated and address the following: ? References relationship to applicant ? Applicants goals ? Applicants strengths and weaknesses ? Length of time acquainted with applicant ? Examples that elaborate on the applicants commitment to the community

    The applicant must submit a Copy of SAT or ACT Score Report (High school applicants only) and copy of one of the following filed documents verifying your/your parents income: ? Student Aid Report (SAR) ? FAFSA Form (please include all pages) ? Most Recent Tax Return (must be signed)
