David Hedrick Memorial Scholarship awards $1100 to the chosen recipient. Applicants must be from Smithville High School as a current high school graduating senior or a graduate. Applicants must be planning to attend or currently enrolled in an accredited institution and taking up a degree in an engineering, science, or math related field. Criteria for evaluation are high school extracurricular activities and academic record, charitable and civic activities, and financial need.
