The scholarship provides financial assistance to minority students who are graduates of East Aurora High School or West Aurora High School and will attend an accredited institution of higher education within the United States of America on a full-time basis.

Eligibility Requirements
- Age/Grade Level:Must be high school seniors
- Minimum GPA:2.0
- Financial Need:Required
- Residence:Students with a permanent address located within the Community Foundation service area which includes the City of Aurora, southern Kane County, and Kendall County within the State of Illinois
- School:Must be graduating seniors from East Aurora High School or West Aurora High School
- College:Will attend an accredited institution of higher education within the United States of America on a full-time basis
- Ethnicity:Must be minority students
- Miscellaneous:Currently participating in the National School Lunch Program through a high school
