Greenfield Kiwanis Dr. William Griffing Scholarship is founded by the Greenfield Kiwanis to honors the achievements of one of its longest and proudest members Dr. William Griffing. He dedicated his life to service the community through his active participation in Kiwanis for 50 years.

    Applicants must be planning to attend or currently attending an accredited post-secondary educational institution
  • Major/Career:
    Must plan to pursue a major in the field of science
  • Extracurricular:
    Community Service, academic achievement and financial need.

    Selection will be based on essay (50%), Community Service, academic achievement and financial need.

    Essay describing your participation and reasons for community service and extracurricular activities
  • Recommendation Letters:
    Letter of recommendation from an adult directly associated with the students community service work
  • Other Materials:
    Completed College Costs Estimator Form;All applicants must submit one high-quality, color head shot (shoulders and up). A professional senior photo is preferred. HCCF reserves the right to request additional photos if the submitted photo is not acceptable. *Please note, if you are selected as a scholarship recipient this photo will be used in HCCF publications
