This scholarship was started in memory of Dr. Laura Jean Armstrong, a nurse extraordinaire. Dr. Armstrong was a public servant who passionately worked to improve the health and welfare of the underserved until her untimely death. This program is open to graduate students attending an accredited, two or four-year, not-for-profit institution within the US (including US territories).
