Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) Educational Foundation

The scholarship is given to an individual wanting to pursue an associate degree in applied science in aviation electronics at the Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Applicants must not be enrolled currently in the avionics program at Spartan. The award covers all tuition expenses for eight quarters, or until the recipient completes an associate degree.

    Submit a 300-word essay on the following topic: 1. What impact will the FAAs NextGen technologies have on aircraft maintenance and the skills and knowledge required of tomorrows technicians? Aside from the Essay, applicants must also answer the following questions: 1. Write about your career plans. (a) Include the school(s) you are considering, (b) your desired field of study (avionics, aircraft maintenance, etc.) and (c) where you plan to gain employment once you complete school. 2. Describe what scholastic and community activities you are involved in and how these will help you pursue your aviation career goals.
