Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage Scholarship is provided to an Alaskan resident who plans to pursue a higher education, The program provides a $1,500 fund that can be used at any accredited college or university.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Age/Grade Level:
    The applicant must be a high school senior or undergraduate student.
  • Minimum GPA:
    2.70
  • Financial Need:
    Not Mentioned
  • Other Academic Requirements:
    Enrollment for a minimum of 8 semester hours of coursework during the semester in which the scholarship is recorded.
  • Residence:
    The applicant must be a resident of Alaska.
  • School:
    The applicant must be an Alaskan high school senior or college student.
  • College:
    The scholarship is open to an Alaskan student accepted to or enrolled in any accredited college or university.
  • Organization:
    The applicant must be a member of a high school cross-country ski team in your junior and senior year. The applicant must also be a member of the NSAA (individual or family membership) in the past two years.
  • Miscellaneous:
    Family members of NSAA Board members and/or scholarship selection committee members are ineligible for consideration.
