National Space Club

The scholarship is established in memory of the Honorable Olin E. Teague, a Representative in Congress who aggressively supported our national space program. The program is intended to encourage graduating high school senior to pursue careers in aerospace fields.

  • Essay:
    A Statement of Intent that indicates academic plans that would lead to a career in some area of aerospace sciences and/or technology; 500 words minimum, no longerthan two pages
  • Recommendation Letters:
    At least one letter of recommendation from a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) faculty member or mentor
  • Portfolio/Work Samples:
    A research paper focusing on applications to aerospace, five pages minimum (see later sections for paper format)
