American Nuclear Society (ANS)

The scholarship is intended for college Juniors, Seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in nuclear science or nuclear engineering and attending an accredited institution in the United States with an established ANS Student Section or Alpha Nu Sigma chapter. Applicants must be ANS student members and must be sponsored by a faculty advisor of an ANS Student Section or an individual ANS member.

    Must be enrolled in a course of study leading to a degree in nuclear science or engineering

    Must be ANS student members

    Evaluation is based upon numerous factors, including: academic preparation (GPA and test scores), awards, honors, leadership within the ANS, references, and career goals and objectives

  • Recommendation Letters:
    List three people, preferably supervisors and/or faculty members, who are familiar with your qualifications. These people will be requested to provide a reference for you.
