The National AIDS Memorial Grove

The Pedro Zamora Young Leaders Scholarship Program was established in memory of Pedro. He dedicated his life to raising awareness to young people on information and tools they needed to avoid HIV infection. The scholarship provides a $2,500 to $5,000 fund to high school seniors, college freshmen, sophomores and juniors to continue their education. The applicants must have demonstrated a commitment to fighting AIDS, leadership, and active service.

    At least one written Letter of Recommendation from a teacher, program coordinator, supervisor/ally/community leader or another adult who is directly involved in your HIV/AIDS-related service, leadership, or field of study.
