SAE / David Hermance Hybrid Technologies Scholarship was established in 2007 in memory of the late David Hermance. Mr. Hermance was Executive Engineer for Advanced Technology Vehicles at the Toyota Technical Center and had valuable contributions to hybrid and advanced technology vehicles in North America. This scholarship aims to recognize the importance of advanced technology and ensure an adequate supply of well-trained engineers for the future.
