The Dream Award is Scholarship Americas renewable scholarship program for financially needy students who are in their sophomore year and beyond and at least 17 years old, and planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the United States. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent resident (holders of a Permanent Resident Card), or individuals granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA).

  • Age/Grade Level:
    Be enroll at the sophomore year level or higher; at least 17 years old
  • Minimum GPA:
    3.0
  • Financial Need:
    Required
  • Other Academic Requirements:
    Be planning to complete a minimum of one full year of postsecondary education by the end of the 2016 academic year
  • Residence:
    Must be U.S. permanent resident (or U.S. citizen) or individuals granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program
  • Citizenship:
    Must be a U.S. citizen (or U.S. permanent resident)
  • College:
    Plan to enroll at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the United States
  • Other Benefits:
    Each students award will increase by $1,000 each year to help them successfully finish school and earn their degrees.
