    A personal statement in which you include: financial information you feel the jury could use in determining your financial need, your interest in law librarianship, reason(s) for applying for this scholarship, and career goals as a law librarian. You may also include other pertinent information you would like the Scholarships Jury to know about you. Personal statements should be complete and well-written. Your personal statement should establish your financial need by thoroughly and clearly addressing your financial situation and need for a scholarship.
  • Recommendation Letters:
    Two letters of recommendation. Select persons who have knowledge of your abilities and who can evaluate and comment upon your law library employment experience.
  • Other Materials:
    A course description and other documentation showing that the applicant has registered for the course or has taken the course within the current year. A scholarship may be granted contingent upon acceptance of registration. If seeking reimbursement for a course already taken, a grade report evidencing satisfactory completion.
