This scholarship was established in 1997 in memory of Shirley A. Klida, a person who demonstrated exemplary character throughout her life. Shirley was very active in religious and community service and has long-standing participation in the Booster Club. This scholarship benefits senior at Bay City Western High School accepted at a Michigan college or university.
