Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA)

Sports Journalism Institute provides a nine-week training and internship for college students who wants to pursue sports journalism. The program also includes a paid sports internship and a $500 scholarship after the internship. There are 10 students that are selected for the program.

    Candidates will be selected on the basis of academic achievement, demonstrated interest in sports journalism as a career and excellence on the required essay.

  • Recommendation Letters:
    The application must include two letters of recommendation.

    Applicants must submit work samples (no more than 10). If you are a writer, please make into on package as a PDF. If you are showing videos, send via dropbox.
  • Other Materials:
    The application must also include a photograph.
