STEM Major Scholarships

Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA)

The scholarship is open to full-time sophomore or junior college and graduate-level students majoring in STEM fields to include cybersecurity, intelligence and homeland security-related disciplines. Online programs are also eligible. U.S. citizenship is required for all applicants.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Age/Grade Level:
    Undergraduate candidates must be at least second-year college students enrolled as sophomores or juniors full-time in a four-year college or university at the time of application. Graduate-level candidates must currently be enrolled in their second semester and at least two (2) semester-equivalent courses per term at the time of application.
  • Minimum GPA:
    3.0
  • Financial Need:
    Not Mentioned
  • Other Academic Requirements:
    Undergraduate candidates must have a current overall GPA of 3.0 or higher while graduate-level candidates must have a current overall GPA of 3.5 or higher in their current program.
  • Citizenship:
    U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants
  • College:
    Undergraduate candidates be enrolled full-time in a four-year college or university at the time of application. Graduate-level candidates must be enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university at the time of application.
  • Major/Career:
    Must be majoring in STEM fields to include Cyber Security, Intelligence and Homeland Security-related disciplines
