This scholarship was established by the American Heart Association as a permanent tribute to the outstanding contributions of Howard B. Burchell, M.D., Ph.D. to cardiovascular research and teaching. This opportunity is open to medical students attending an institution in the State of Minnesota and pursuing the field of research as a career. This program is for medical students to participate in health science research.
