This scholarship was established by Virginia Weber on April 4, 2006 to honor and in memory of her mother, Vivian Klemz. Vivian was a gifted artist in many disciplines (painting, crafts, quilting, designing and making clothes) who never had the opportunity to attend college. This fund aims to provide scholarship support to students in the field of Arts.

    Sophomore or above student enrolled full-time in an accredited 4-year college or enrolled in a graduate-level arts program leading to a graduate-level degree in the arts.

    Applicants must have successfully completed their freshman year of college/university.

    Applicants must be from Ventura County
  • School:
    Applicants must have graduated from a Ventura County high school.
  • College:
    Sophomore or above student enrolled full-time in an accredited 4-year college, university
  • Major/Career:
    College Major: Arts (performing, visual, fine, creative language arts)

  • Recommendation Letters:
    2 letters of recommendation required, at least 1 from a current teacher at the school you attend. You will need the email addresses of your teachers, counselors,professors, employers in order to send them an email request for letters of recommendation. You may request paper letters of recommendation. If you choose to do this, you will upload electronic versions of the letters with your online scholarship application. Please note: VCCF does not accept letters of recommendation from family members of applicants.
