Scholarships for Health Sciences Majors

Health science is a broad and important area of study. It is a great field to get a major in, but health science degrees can be expensive, not to mention a lot of work. Luckily, there are huge numbers of scholarships available to students of the health sciences to allow them to stop worrying about costs and focus on their studies. Corporations in the healthcare industry, such as pharmaceutical companies and insurance providers, sponsor many scholarships. National and local nonprofit organizations also award scholarships to students pursuing a career in health science. To apply, you will most likely need to provide a transcript showing a GPA of at least 3.25, and you may also be asked to submit a personal statement and proof of financial need.
