Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund

This scholarship was established to benefit students planning to enroll as first-year students in the upcoming academic year in the fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Students must be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander descent. Students must be able to attend Toyota scholarship event in Torrance, CA in the spring and preference is given to students located in Southern California. Students whose parents or guardians are employed by Toyota Motor Sales USA are ineligible to apply.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Age/Grade Level:
    Enrolling as a full-time, degree-seeking, first-year student in the upcoming academic year or have earned a GED
  • Minimum GPA:
    2.70
  • Financial Need:
    Required
  • Residence:
    Legal permanent resident of the United States.
  • Citizenship:
    Be a citizen of the United States. Citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau are also eligible
  • College:
    Be enrolling as an undergraduate student in a U.S. accredited college or university in the Fall of 2017.
  • Major/Career:
    Must major in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
  • Ethnicity:
    Be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity as defined by the U.S. Census
  • Miscellaneous:
    Must be able to attend Toyota scholarship event in Torrance, CA in the spring.
