ASHRAE Donald E. Nichols Scholarship

American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE)

This scholarship was established to provide one-year assistance to qualified undergraduate engineering students enrolled full-time at Tennessee Technological University. This opportunity is named for a former ASHRAE vice president and graduate of Tennessee Technological University.

  • Class Rank:
    A class standing of no less than the top 30%.
  • Character Traits:
    Leadership ability (activities, leadership roles, community service, etc.)
  • College:
    A one-year scholarship available annually to a qualified undergraduate engineering student enrolled full-time at Tennessee Technological University.
  • Major/Career:
    A one-year scholarship available annually to a qualified undergraduate engineering student.

  • Recommendation Letters:
    Three letters of recommendation, including one from an instructor or faculty advisor, a current or past employer, and another character reference. In the case of schools with an ASHRAE student branch, a letter from the faculty advisor of that branch may be one of the three letters of recommendation.
