Chapter 23 - Quad Cities Scholarship

Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) Education Foundation

This scholarship was established to benefit individuals seeking a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing technology or integrated manufacturing systems. An applicant who is an active SME Student Chapter member, is an SME Member or is a child, grandchild, or step child of a registered SME member or student member is given first preference. An applicant who resides in Iowa or Illinois and attending an Iowa or Illinois college or university are given second preference. Students who are residents of the state of Iowa or Illinois are given third preference. Lastly, applicants who attend a college or university located in Iowa or Illinois are given fourth preference.

    Residents of the state of Iowa or Illinois.

    Scholarships are only available to citizens of the U.S. and territories, citizens of Canada
  • College:
    Attending accredited colleges or universities in the United States or Canada for the next Fall term; attending an Iowa or Illinois college or university.
  • Major/Career:
    Seeking a Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing technology or integrated manufacturing systems
  • Organization:
    First preference will be given to an applicant who is an active SME Student Chapter member, is an SME Member or is a child, grandchild, or step child of a registered SME member or student member.
