The scholarship is open to graduating high school senior or current undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or related field. Preference will be given to applicants who are planning to attend an engineering college or university located in the state of New Mexico.

  • Residence:
    With permanent residency status in the U.S. (i.e. green card) or Canada (citizens of the U.S. and territories, citizens of Canada or applicants with a U.S./Canadian student visa); Preference will be given to applicants who reside within the state of New Mexico
  • Citizenship:
    Must be citizens of the U.S. and territories, citizens of Canada (students with permanent residency status in the U.S. (i.e. green card) or Canada, or applicants with a U.S. or Canadian student visa)
  • College:
    Preference will be given to applicants who are planning to attend an engineering college or university located in the state of New Mexico
  • Major/Career:
    Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or related field
  • Organization:
    First preference will be given to child/grandchild/step child of a current Chapter 93 member; Second preference will be given to SME student member
