The Dan and Vicky Hancock Scholarship for Mechanical Engineering Excellence is offered to all students from freshman through senior. The program was established by Dan and Vicky Hancock to help and give back to the community. The scholarship provides students funds to support their dreams in completing a degree in the field of mechanical engineering.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Age/Grade Level:
    The applicant must be a high school senior or college student.
  • Minimum GPA:
    3.50
  • Financial Need:

  • Other Academic Requirements:
    Applicant must have an ACT Composite of 24 and/or SAT score: Math - 600 or above; Critical Reading - 550 or above
  • Residence:
    The scholarship is open to U.S. Residents.
  • College:
    Preference is given to Kettering University students.
  • Major/Career:
    The applicants must pursue a Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Extracurricular:
    The students applicant is preferred to have participation in extracurricular activities relating to an academic degree or career intent (such as, but not limited to, CDS projects) that indicates leadership potential.
