Community Foundation of the Great River Bend
This scholarship was created by Dr. and Mrs. Rhee in 2000 to honor children of Korean heritage with educational benefits. This opportunity is open to graduating senior at a high school in counties of Rock Island, Illinois or Scott, Iowa. Applicants must be of Korean descent (a child of one or two Korean biological parents is preferred, but as little as 25% Korean is acceptable). Students must be planning to attend as a full-time college student for the purpose of earning credits for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science undergraduate college degree.

- Age/Grade Level:Applicant must be a graduating senior at a high school
- Minimum GPA:3.0
- Financial Need:Not Required
- Class Rank:Be in the scholastic upper 1/3 of his or her graduation class.
- School:Applicant must be a graduating senior at a high school in counties of Rock Island, Illinois or Scott, Iowa.
- Major/Career:Applicant must plan to enroll as a full-time college student for the purpose of earning credits for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science undergraduate college degree.
