Everline Scholarship is given to high school graduates of Lake Forest High School. The applicant must serve the Harrington, Delaware community and plans to pursue a business career.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Age/Grade Level:
    The scholarship is open to high school graduates.
  • Financial Need:
    Required
  • Other Academic Requirements:
    Applicant must be accepted as a full-time student.
  • School:
    Applicant must be a student of Lake Forest High School, Kent County Delaware.
  • College:
    The student must be accepted for admission as a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university, or an accredited secondary educational career or technical school.
  • Major/Career:
    The awardee must pursue a degree in any aspect of the business field.

Application Details

  • Judging Criteria:
    The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the students school and community service, educational performance, financial need, and an interview.

  • Resume/Activity List:
    Not required
  • Essay:
    The student must attach a personal letter describing his/her financial need for the scholarship.
  • Recommendation Letters:
    Applicant must submit three letters of recommendation as follows:a) One letter from a member of the community (not a relative) listing all involvement in community service (i.e. church, civic groups, or organizations)b) One letter from an administrator or counselor which states the students activities and leadership record in high school.c) One letter from a teacher stating students ability, motivation, character, creativity, initiative, and other attributes.
