The Grand Island College board of directors established this scholarship to benefit graduating high school seniors, non-traditional students, and returning adults from Adams, Blaine, Boone, Buffalo, Clay, Custer, Dawson, Franklin, Furnas, Garfield, Gosper, Greeley, Hall, Hamilton, Harlan, Howard, Kearney, Loup, Merrick, Nance, Nuckolls, Phelps, Platte, Polk, Sherman, Valley, Webster, and Wheeler counties in Nebraska. Applicants mus be pursuing study in the field of business, health, or travel and tourism at a community college or other technical institution.
